Random login to DA and yay, Free Premium Membership day! I guess I'll make the most of the last few minutes of Thursday.

So... much has happened since I've posted 3 years ago. Next month will be my 3rd wedding anniversary. My beautiful son, Liam, will be 2 in April. My mom and sisters have moved to the Sunshine State, I miss them. While we don't own, we are renting a house for the first time, I'm so glad to be out of noisy apartments and Liam and I can make all the noise we want playing without having to worry about neighbors. We also have a yard now, so outside playing FTW! Liam is extremely smart, he has been growing leaps in bounds in his understanding of language and reading. He looks just like his mama too, super cute of course. *wink*

I've learned how to cook pretty well, no more mac n cheese only... I thought I hated vegetables, I just didn't know how to cook them as I love them now. Food has taken up my art passion. That's okay though, gotta change things up now and then. I have been making beaded jewelry too, I love making my own pieces.

College has been tough with a little one, but hopefully I'll be done soon and on my way to university. I plan on going into Dietetics, but you never know when the whim to change your major might be. Nutrition and food is so interesting though. It's strange not going for Graphic Design or Web Development, but I like the change. Switching has made school very challenging, the subjects are so different than anything I've taken before. Richie (the Hubs) is in his last semester for his A.S. and will then decide on a major for his B.S., he has been considering Nursing, which as an IT guy is a major change. He's always wanted to be a Doctor and to help people, I think he'll make a great Nurse.

I've joined a debate team and have learned so much from it. I feel like I was very sheltered previously, my views have expanded, and that's a good feeling.

I have been really bad about writing and doing artsy things, I just don't have a ton of time. I am going to college and doing the mom thing with Liam, he consumes my entire day until around 8pm when he goes to bed, then it's hard to pass up spending a little time with the Hubs, playing Skyrim or just goofing off on the computer.

I'm making a resolution to do some artwork though, it's been so long since I've posted anything, anywhere.
